Ceramist Instructor Designer
We are looking for trained Studio potters and Ceramic designers who can also teach courses and workshops in Ceramic Arts and pottery.

As Ceramist Designer, they should be able to create design for a wide range of ceramic objects. These objects can include Ceramic Sculpture, domestic and commercial creative Tableware and Kitchenware, Giftware, Garden ceramics, Jewellery, wall decorative Murals. The Designer/ Artist should be able to interpret a product brief.

As Instructors, should be able to plan their teaching schedule and plan courses from Introductory to advanced levels. They should be proficient in wheel- throwing, hand building techniques, glazing, slip casting and should be familiar with firing too.

Benefits: As Ceramic Artists and Designers you will have access to the studio for your own work during the scheduled studio hours. Pieces will be fired along with other work as long as space is available or separately by arrangement with the technician. Materials are available for purchase.

Requirements: A Degree in Ceramic Arts with considerable experience in creating products is preferred and teaching experience is also desired.


Outreach Coordinator
We are looking for a Educational and Outreach person who will be responsible for building a robust outreach program engaging area Schools, Colleges, Community groups including industry groups and others.

The Outreach Coordinator reports to the Director and works with the studio team, creates long-term planning, develop new initiatives and guide the growth of the education and workshop program. Duties will involve developing and managing regular community art programs, create regular after-school and summer programming for youth and children. The job will also involve analyzing profitability and viability of programs, establish relationships with different groups to create workshops, utilize visiting artists and enhance school arts programs, create marketing plan for workshops. The goal will be to build community relationships to further participation in Clayfingers through various programs and events.

Requirement - A Degree in Fine Arts, Education or related field, or two years of experience in a position at a similar operation is required.


Sales Manager
We are looking for an experienced sales person to join our small but highly successful team, selling ceramic products to architects, interior designers, and individuals and through regular exhibitions.

Some of the desired skills are - Strong Oral/Phone and written communication skills ; must be detail oriented and analytical, with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks ; Strong organizational and follow-up skills; Ability to supervise outside service providers as well as handle internal administrative duties and proficiency with Word, Excel, Google Docs, basic web technology, and e-commerce preferable.


Requirements: Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, marketing, or related field, and one or more years relevant experience in retail, wholesale, marketing and online sales.
